Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Self-emptying bases make robotic vacuums worth the money, especially for those with large homes. This means you don't need to empty the bin more than once per run. It keeps your floors clean and runs more frequently.

Its Lidar navigation does an excellent job of mapping and you can use the app to create zones and cleaning schedules. But it wasn't able to avoid obstacles like furniture legs, and neither did the j7 and Q Revo.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a tiny water reservoir, a robotic arm that can raise and lower a mopping pad, and some new sensors. The result is a capable two-in-one cleaner that we've discovered to be superior to other non-mopping robot vacuums.

The Combo J7+ does not have the smart mopping features that our top pick does however, it effectively cleans. It comes with a highly efficient brush roll that is effective on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It can be able to get between furniture and rugs without difficulty, even on steep stairs. It has a powerful suction that we found to be impressive, even though it is not as strong as the Roomba's 694 from iRobot.

The Combo J7+ stands out from other robot vacuums by mopping, which uses a rotating brush to scrub floors. SmartScrub is what iRobot refers to, and it is akin to the way that a mop would scrub a floor. The iRobot App allows you to enable it on the basis of a room.

Like other iRobot robots The j7 Plus is easy to install and use. It's also easy to maintain. The dust bin and water tank are both removable, so they're easy to clean. The iRobot App lets you watch instructional videos that demonstrate how to maintain the different components of the machine. For example replacing the mopping pad, or filtering the water tank.

The only issue is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has mopping pads and the 210 ml water tank is filled. If either of those is missing, it vacuums. You can easily monitor the water tank via the iRobot app, and if it gets low you'll receive an alert to refill it.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a sturdy budget-friendly machine that is great for mopping and vacuuming. The mopping capabilities are impressive, particularly considering its cost. It can be used to mop hard floors and carpets with a fine-to- large debris (think hair tangles cereal, kitty litter of all sizes). It is also great at cleaning up messes, spills and stains. It is also great for cleaning up stairs and other places that can easily get stuck.

The mopping system uses rotating pads to scrub your floors and get rid of dirt and grime even from stuck-on areas. The pad also completely dries with 45 minutes of warm air following each cleaning, preventing mold and unpleasant odors. You can control the robot with the Roborock App or your voice to start mopping, change settings and more.

Its vacuuming is also top-notch. It comes with an impressive vacuum and a high-efficiency filter which is able to capture all types of debris, from small to large. The only issue is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power 10 percent of pet hair remained on the surface. This is not something you've heard of.

The Q Revo is a fantastic product that is able to provide excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. It also has superb cleaning and mopping capabilities. It's not as effective as the top-quality robot vacuum and mop, however it's an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget. It can charge up to 30% faster than its predecessors and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This is a lot of ease for a tiny amount of money. Take a look at our full review of the Roborock Q Revo for more details and to see whether it's the right choice for you.

3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube vacuum/mop robot is inexpensive and comes with numerous excellent features. The set-up was simple and took only five minutes. After you have removed the protective plastic and manufacturing tape you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is simple and guides you through the process with ease. Once it is set up, the Cube is now ready to begin mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app also lets you divide rooms into smaller parts to better cater to your needs. You can make an outline of the kitchen and another for the living room. The robot will vacuum the floors at different times in each room.

As compared to other robots I've tried, the Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it an industrial look. The base station has a more modular design than other robots, with the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one side and the vacuum on another. The reusable mop pads are also distinct. They fit into the top of the robot and are connected to a handle on the front, making it simple to remove and refill.

The vacuum performs as well as any other robot I've tried and has two side brushes instead of the single one in most models. This increases the vacuum's coverage area and reduces the possibility of debris being lost around walls and furniture. It isn't perfect in object recognition and tends to run into objects like the carpet in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is a powerful robot mop that can do its job well and keeps your floors looking great on a regular basis. It can't do the vacuuming work of other hybrids on this list, and isn't able to transition to rugs or carpet like they do, however it has an extended battery life and smart mopping features. It is a great choice to maintain your floors in a small or mid-sized home.

It can be used in dry sweeping mode as well, cleaning up to 1,000 square feet on one charge. It's also able to map your floor plan using the iRobot app and can clean rooms in a sequence using compatible Roomba vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 uses precise sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to watch and it was able to remove even the toughest dried-in coffee and juice stains on my floors. It can be programmed to use less or more water than the maximum amount set in the app.

The iRobot application is among the best available and allows you to sync with your home's wi-fi network simple. It has many user-friendly features like scheduling, room partitioning, and defining no-go zones. This gives you complete control over the device. You can also check how much power remains in the battery to know how long it will last before it needs to be recharged or docked. The m6 is available from My Robot Centre in the UK for PS499, the iRobot store in the US for $399 and on Amazon (where it's currently available for sale). It's available in graphite and white.

5. Shark RV2610WA

The cost of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is a major problem. They are easy to use, but expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robotic vacuum and mop with XLHEPA Self-Empty base, which we reviewed, retails at $699 / PS559 / approximately AU$1,054. If you don't want the charging base, it'll cost $549/PS395 or approximately AU$675.

Shark RV2610WA can be a great option for those looking for a machine that is versatile and can do both vacuuming as well as mopping. It utilizes sonic mopping technology to scrub floors 100 times per minute, and it's also capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains using the stain-lifting option that comes with it. The app lets you schedule the machine to clean at a specific time and date.  www.robotvacuummops.com  has a smart feature which allows you to control your robot while you're away.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is good at cleaning and can take care of most debris. However, it's not as efficient on carpets. It's easy for pet hair to be caught in the brushroll and its dirt bin can quickly fill up. It has a few parts that require regular maintenance and replacement. This can result in regular expenses.

For the price There are better options available. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for example, offers much better performance on both carpets with a high pile as well as bare floors. It's better built, has a bigger dustbin and can move over obstacles such as electrical cords better. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra expense if need a versatile cleaner that can handle both jobs with ease.
